Momentum Psychology and Performance’s Response to Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Like most people, we have been monitoring the news and updates about Coronavirus (COVID-19). With the variety and continuously updating information, it can be a time of heightened anxiety and uncertainty. We are committed to being as prepared as we can to deal with this situation and to providing services to our clients while maintaining the health and safety of clients and Momentum staff. As such, please note the following:
APRIL 2021 UPDATE:
-
While many states, including Virginia, are slowly re-opening, per American Psychological Association guidelines Momentum Psychology will be continuing to use teletherapy via our HIPAA-compliant client portal as the primary mode of seeing clients. As we get closer to truly decreasing COVID-19 infections, we will gradually resume face-to-face sessions. Once we resume in-person sessions, we will be engaging in mitigation measures to maintain client and staff safety. We're getting closer; looking forward to connecting again in person in the near(ish) future!

SEPTEMBER 2020 UPDATE:

Although there have been some improvements across the country in managing COVID-19, it appears we have a ways to go before we will have fully turned the corner on the pandemic. As such, Momentum remains closed to face-to-face sessions and is conducting sessions virtually. We remain set up to provide teletherapy within Virginia via our HIPAA-compliant client portal and are seeing new and existing clients through this platform. We look forward to the time when we can meet with clients once again in person. Hang in there!
